There are three types of cyclists – the casual cyclist, the amateur weekend dedicated and fanatical. It's the fanatic who will probably get a road bike custom.

Here below are customized bikes … and then there are the Custom-built bikes.

What is the difference between the two?

Cusstomized Bikes

Well, anyone who runs a bike shop and the clerk there to help him or her to adapt the bike properly, will usually "customize" their bike by choosing the type of saddle they like (narrow or wide, gel-filled, etc.), different lengths of stem the handlebar height, V-pull or disc brakes, etc.

You can further customize your bike with accessories such as bells, compasses, and lights – and you can even give it a paint job if you're good at this sort of thing. (Actually, I have a Schwinn Sierra that is about four years, and I thought to give it a fresh coat of blue paint with yellow highlights. Unfortunately, I know I have no skills to believe even half decent.)

Road Bikes are obviously designed to mount on the roads, and agree not for the Cross-country travel. The tires are very close to offer little resistance as possible to the road, and the handlebars are the type who switches to force the rider Lean forward at an acute angle. However, there are various additions to the handlebars so you can get when resting is more important than speed, it is possible to stand straight and still control the bike properly.

Lowriders are another type of road bike, but not used for racing, but rather for cruising around to show their painting.

Custom Built

What is Custom-built mean? A custom-built bike is the one built for you from scratch – and handmade most often. Your every action is taken and is constructed for these measures. Crankset fit your legs, the top tube is just the right length, and it will be built outside of the space age material that you prefer.

And in addition, of course, you can choose the types of processors and the breaks you want it.

Custom-built bikes are motorcycles more expensive, you can get, but they will fit you like a glove and if you're a serious cyclist who is the type of bike you want.

Bikers serious road have many different activities in which they may engage, from "ultra long distance riding (Randonneuring) to triathlons – where one of the three segments of the race is cycling. Such athletes must be custom-built bicycles.
