Selle Italia is the undisputed leader and champion of innovation saddle. On the basis of a small village in Italy, to this day, they hand make all their products exclusively in Italy and more than 110 years. True, they started building saddles bike in 1897! That's over 100 years of experience and dedication to progress in the bicycle industry.
The only thing About Selle Italia is how they can simultaneously be as faithful to the tradition as they are to innovation. Selle Italia was the first saddle company to introduce the concept of different density, shock absorbers, suspension gel saddle and active. They also pioneered the use Titanium rails carbon fiber, Kevlar and tubular rails. Yet some of their most popular saddles in their collection are those they have done for more than 20 years. This customer loyalty is something that most companies do not saddle others.
Most of this is due to the quality and safety standard, they have maintained since their creation. Their attention to detail and their careful selection of materials are a guarantee of absolute reliability. Overall, the design and creation phase of their products not only comply with the standards of the latest safety, they go beyond. One strengths is also their use of full-grain leather. Unlike synthetic materials, it offers the advantage of breathability and adhesion limited surface.
We have always made it clear that the most personal choice on a bike is the saddle, and not just because it is the parties more personal on the rider.
